PRIMER PU 412 TF is a primer suitable for preparing polyurethane materials for gluing with polyurethane adhesives. It is intended to be used as a single component but in case of use on critical materials it can be used as a two component one with the addition of an activator such as POLYDUR PU or DESMODUR RFE in approximately 1-3%. PRIMER PU 412 TF is free from solvents classified as CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic to reproduction substances) and toluene, the presence of which would imply the obligation of the risk phrases H351 and H 360. Instructions for Use: 1. Before laying the primer, better clean the surfaces to be treated with CLEANER 6 or CLEANER 509/511 (in exceptional case can be used CLEANER 518) and wait 5 – 10 minutes (try to bond with or without the cleaning and choose the better way). 2. Lay the PRIMER PU 412 TF on the surface to be treated with a short bristle brush, in order to give a gentle abrasion. 3. Wait at least 15 minutes before laying the polyurethane adhesive. 4. Lay the polyurethane adhesive following the instructions in the adhesive’s technical data sheet.
