FLEXAN series 2 represents a family of composite materials based on thermoplastic polymers made with the co-extrusion technique (multi-layer extrusion). FLEXAN series 2 includes the coupling of the non-woven polyester fabric on both side of the co-extruded mass. FLEXAN series 2 is suitable for making toe-puffs characterized by marked flexibility and moderate stiffness properties. The particular polymeric nature of which it is composed, in addition to giving excellent characteristics of inalterability over time, allows to produce footwear of high-quality finish with excellent properties of non-deformability and non-deteriorate under different weather conditions. The standard version FLEXAN series 2 for toe-puffs includes a one side EVA-based hot melt coating (0P), or polyurethane-based hot melt powder coating (0N), or always polyurethane-based thermoadhesive powder coating with a low reactivation temperature (0L). FLEXAN series 2 also includes the version with 0K polyurethane-based film coating on one side only, a version that improves and increases the resilience and elasticity of the article. FLEXAN series 2 is available on request with double-side hot melt coating EVA-based (PP) or polyurethane-based (NN). The higher thickness versions of FLEXAN series 2 are suitable for making counters and the availability in multiple thickness make the article suitable for different types of footwear.
